Ron Taylor, Publisher of the Georgian Bay
Eco Museum website says, “ The Doors Open Program
is the essence of what “Eco Tourism” is all
about—incorporating culture, history, outdoor natural
attractions and experiences in such a way as to stimulate
economic activity for the local community.” Taylor
adds, “As both the community and the public are
educated in the benefits of sustaining historic and natural
sites, each community becomes a more desirable destination
for tourists and visitors.”
The Georgian Bay Eco Museum, “The
Worlds Largest Fresh Water Eco Museum” is a virtual
